Rose B. Kidd of Lake Wales and Orlando passed away on Monday, September 22, 2025 at her residence in Orlando.
She was born in Brooklyn, New York and moved to Rahway, New Jersey as a child. Rose was a graduate of Rahway Highschool, attended Middlesex County College in Edison, New Jersey as well as Sawyer Business School in Elizabeth, New Jersey.
She retired in 1987 after 30 years from Purolater Products, Inc., Rahway, New Jersey, as an Office Worker and Secretary to the late Ted Sawyer, the then Chief Engineer. Rose moved to Lake Wales, Florida from Colonia, New Jersey in 1990. From 1991 until 2005, she worked for K-Mart Corp. as a Cashier/Checkout Supervisor.
Rose was preceded in death by her husband, Charles S. Kidd; and sisters, Concetta Barba, Phyllis Hanson, Esther Sager, and Lucy Schultz.
Inurnment for Rose will be at Florida National Cemetery with her husband. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in her honor can be sent to Holy Spirit Catholic Church (644 S. 9th Street, Lake Wales, Florida 33853). Condolences can be sent to the family at www.marionnelsonfuneralhome.com.
