Rose Theresa Kozaryn

Rose Kozaryn, a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and pillar of her community, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on October 4th, 2025. She was 88 years old. She was a devoted matriarch who built a life grounded in love, hard work, and resilience.

Rose was the proud mother of 6 children: Joey, George, Victor, Joann, Mary, Paul. Her legacy continues through her 13 grandchildren, who brought her endless joy and pride. She also shared a close bond with her siblings: Victor Mulligan, Pat Lang, Michael Mulligan, and Mary Cohen. Lifelong companion of Joseph Gross.

A true self-starter, Rose was a skilled hairdresser who turned her dream into reality by founding her own salon on Cape Cod, Rose's Golden Snips, which she built from the ground up. Her work ethic was unmatched, and she poured her heart into every cut, curl, and conversation behind the chair.

Rose had a generous heart and opened her home as a foster parent to many children in need, offering them warmth, stability, and care when they needed it most.

When she wasn't working or caring for others, Rose found joy in the simple pleasures of life: golfing, gardening, and cooking meals for her large Italian family. Her Sunday dinners were legendary, filled with laughter, stories, and food made with love. In her younger years, she loved to travel and explore the world beyond the Cape.

Rose's spirit of strength, compassion, and determination will live on in the countless lives she touched. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.

Visitation will take place on Thursday, October 9th from 9 – 10:30 a.m. at Chapman Funerals & Cremations, 475 Main Street, Falmouth. A Funeral Mass will follow at 11 a.m. at St. Patrick's Church, 511 Main Street, Falmouth followed by Burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Jones Road, Falmouth.
