Rose Marie Carson, a beloved native of Mobile, Alabama, was born on
September 15, 1960, to Willie Fred and Eloise Hoffman Turner. She transitioned
from this life on Sunday, January 12, 2025, at the age of 64.
Rose was preceded in death by her father, Willie Fred Turner; her maternal
grandparents, Herbert and Annie Bell Hoffman; her paternal grandparents,
Willie and Catherine Lewis; her in-laws, Sim Carson Sr. and Sarah Carson; her
sister-in-law, Jacqueline Burno; and her brother-in-law, David Williams.
She will be deeply missed by all who knew her, and her memory will forever live
in our hearts.
Rose Marie Carson was a proud 1978 graduate of W.P. Davidson High School.
She dedicated 20 years of service to USA Medical Center, where she retired in
2023.
A faithful and devoted member of The Holy Church of God Cottage Hill, Rose
actively served her church community in various capacities. She was a member
of the praise team, the church announcer, and a cherished member of the
choir.
Her contributions to both her career and her church were a testament to her
dedication, passion, and love for others.
Rose Marie Carson was united in holy matrimony to the love of her life, Sim
Carson Jr., on May 29, 1982. To this union, they were blessed with four children:
Antonio, Sabrina, Brittney, and LaTonya.
Rose Marie Carson leaves to cherish her memories, a devoted and loving
husband, Sim Carson Jr.; one son, Antonio (Jessica) Carson; three daughters,
Sabrina (Antoine) Allen, Brittney (Jarrord) Winston, and Dr. LaTonya (Malcolm)
Rocker. She is also survived by her mother, Eloise C. Betts; her brother, Bryant
(Veronica) Turner; and her sister, Carol Turner Williams.
Rose is remembered by her brothers-in-law, Jerome (Carrie) Carson and James
(Anna) Carson; her sisters-in-law, Sarah (Gerald) Smith, Geraldine (Edward)
Royals, and Sylvia (James) Hunter.
She leaves behind seven grandchildren: Antonio Carson Jr., Joshua Fears,
Jordan Fears, Kaitlynn Marie Winston, Grayson Carson, Mallory Rose Rocker, Rylee Winston
and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.

To my Carson family,
While we may be miles apart. Please know we are near and dear with our expressions of sympathy and condolences in the passing of our Aunt Rose. Our memories are years deep, fond and loving. We have always appreciated the open and welcoming spirit she adorn us with while in her presence .
