Rose Milner Obituary Rose Marie Milner 90, of Westville, passed away Wednesday, July 6, 2022 at home. She was born August 21, 1931 in Hanna, Indiana to Calvin and Clara (Green) Lewis. On March 21, 1953 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Westville she married William Albert Milner who passed away July 6, 2019. Rose Marie is survived by her daughters L.A. Anderson and Jan (Jerry) Hope; her granddaughter Kathryn Renee (Mike Alander) Knowlton, great grandchildren Bryce William Austin (Ashley) Banic, Ty Derek Fulford, Addison Clara Rose Knowlton and Nya Rae Knowlton; one great great grandson Jase William Jensen Banic; her sister-in-law Mary Niblick, half brother Damon Sanders and niece Vicki Ewart. In addition to her husband Bill, she was preceded in death by her parents, her sisters Marge Hapner and Betty Stoltz; and her brother David Lewis. Rose Marie is a member of St. John Lutheran Church in Wanatah and was employed at Howmett in LaPorte for approximately 40 years and also worked in the cafeteria at Westville Schools. A memorial service for Rose Marie will be at 11:00 AM, July 12th at St. John Lutheran Church, 15496 S. 900 W. in Wanatah. Rev. Joel Zipay will officiate. Place of rest will be in St. John Lutheran Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be from 9:00 AM until the time of services at the church. Memorials can be made to St. John Lutheran Cemetery. Newhard Funeral Home in Westville is charge of arrangements. www.newhardfuneralhome.com
