McAlister-Smith Funeral & Cremation - Mt. Pleasant LocationKeith Edward Milner, 76, of Mount Pleasant, South Carolina, fell asleep on Wednesday, October 1, 2025.
Born on January 10, 1949, in Worcester, England, Keith was the son of the late Dorothy Jennings Milner and the late Edward Milner.
Keith was born in Worcester, England, and moved to the United States in July of 1975.
Keith was a skilled engineer and salesperson working in the machine tooling industry. Keith met Rita, and they were married in December of 1987. Keith was always willing to try a new adventure or take on a new task. Keith and Rita joined a Honda Goldwing club in northern Illinois and travelled through most of the continental United States. Keith had a wonderful sense of humor and a welcoming spirit that made all of those around him comfortable. Keith played and coached soccer throughout his life and supported his team, Chelsea F.C. Upon retirement, Keith took his love of playing golf north to Wisconsin, where he played and worked as a Starter for the Sand Valley Golf Course.
Keith is preceded in death by his parents and brother, Paul.
Keith is survived by his brothers, Melvin and Phil; sister, Jeanette; wife, Rita Milner; sons, Graham Milner (Tracy) and Alun Harris-John (Sarah); daughters, Katie Berquist (Joel) and Nia Staggs; and nine grandchildren.
The family will receive friends at a Celebration of Life on Saturday, November 8, 2025, from 2:00 PM - 4:00 PM, at Bella's, 123 South Main Street, Algonquin, IL 60102.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Dementia Society of America (www.dementiasociety.org)
