Glen Tisdale Obituary
Glen Morrison Tisdale, 61, of Mount Pleasant, South Carolina, passed away on Wednesday, October 1, 2025. She was born on May 3, 1964, in Charleston, SC, to the late Elizabeth McGillivray (Steinberg) and William McGillivray.
Growing up, Glen loved the beach and time with her cousins. She graduated from Wando High School and went on to attend Trident Technical College. Glen spent her working career as a dental office manager. She married Darren "Rip" Tisdale on December 6, 1997. Her life's accomplishment was getting to dote on and love her grandchildren and nieces and nephews. Her love and legacy will continue through their lives and achievements.
Glen is preceded in death by her father, William McGillivray, and her mother, Elizabeth Basse.
Glen is survived by her husband, Darren "Rip" Tisdale; son, Noah (Anna) Bennett; step-son, Jeffery (Melissa) Tisdale; step-daughter, Charlotte "Carly" (Corey) Chavis; brothers: Richard (Caryn) McGillivray, Shae (Terri) McGillivray, and Tim (Shannon) McGillivray; step-mother, Victoria "Vicki" McGillivray; beloved niece and nephews: Lilly, Parker and Peyton Hadler; and 6 beloved grandchildren: Hunter and Chandler Bennett, Waylon, Sawyer, and Norah Tisdale, and Sheppard Chavis.
The family invites everyone to join them on Sunday, October 26th at Gold Bug Island (1560 Ben Sawyer Blvd. Mt. Pleasant, SC 29464) from 3:00 - 6:00 pm for a Celebration of Life. Drop-in or stay awhile to share memories and love with each other.
