Obituary
Rose Marie Erline Louis-Charles Minor was born on August 6, 1956, in Petite-Rivière-de-Nippes, Haiti, to Euriphile Aurelian and Fritz Fleurant. She grew up in Carrefour, Port-au-Prince, Haiti, and graduated from culinary school in 1982 after finishing high school in 1980.
She moved to the United States in 1982 and completed nursing assistant school in Connecticut. She eventually obtained her Cosmetology license in Georgia, where she worked as a beautician before opening her own beauty salon, Magic Cuts & Style, in 2005. She worked there dutifully until the Lord called her home. She met her beloved husband, Clinton T. Minor, and married him on February 1, 2005.
The two raised three children: Keny Wood Lucas, Yakiesha Erline Louis-Charles, and Wali Emmanuel Louis-Charles. Before starting her family, she helped raise her niece, Lunange Fleaurant, from 9 months old. Rose Marie was an ambitious, caring, and generous woman. She was a caregiver, intercessor, and dreamer who always used her salon as a platform for ministry. She would minister to everyone by offering her testimony, advice, experience, and prayers. She was very sensitive to the needs of others. She offered herself unselfishly to help people overcome their trials. She served the Lord through charities and missionary work in Haiti. She loved the Lord with her entire heart and encouraged everyone to do the same. She is survived by her Husband, four children, one stepson. She is also survived by her many brothers and sisters. Her late brother Eric Jean Baptiste still remains in our hearts. She forever loved and cherished by her many close relatives and friends. The impact Rose Marie had will forever remain in our hearts. Her body may be deceased but her spirit lives on. May her memory continue to give new life and may the life she lived minister grace to us.
