She worked as an off-track betting teller for 30 years before retiring to Naples, Florida in 2001.
She enjoyed traveling, cooking, gambling, knitting, and spending time with friends and family until moving to Freehold in 2018 to be closer to her son Anthony Annunziata.
She is predeceased by her parents, Salvatore Pastorello and Frances Grova, her husband, Peter Piccininni; daughter Angela Rella and son Salvatore Annunziata; and niece Michelle Pastorello.
She is survived by her son, Anthony Annunziata, daughter-in-law Marie Annunziata; granddaughters Tanya Annunziata and Justine Rella; great grandchildren Olivia and Chase Annunziata; niece Francine Pastorello; and great niece Lilliana Brown.
Visitation will be held at the Higgins Memorial Home, 20 Center Street, Freehold on Thursday, October 30, 2025, from 9:30 to 11:30 AM. A Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated at St. Rose of Lima Church, Freehold at 12:00 PM.
Donations in her memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude’s Place, Memphis, TN 38105 would be appreciated.
