Vincent J. Ricciotti

Vincent Ricciotti, 92, of Manalapan Township passed away on Monday, October 27, 2025 at CentraState Medical Center, Freehold Township. He was born in New York City and spent his recent years in Manalapan and Sunrise, Florida.
He served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War.
Vinny owned and operated a medallion cab in New York City. Following discussion among his fellow drivers in the Lower East Side of New York City about a recent movie, he was discovered by a producer at Showtime. He went on to co-host, along with another New York taxi driver and longtime friend Nathan "Bucky" Goldberg, a Showtime production called Bucky & Vinny: The Critics. They appeared on the Tonight Show with Jay Leno and Entertainment Tonight among other shows. The duo became spokespersons for Subway Sandwiches.
He enjoyed his time at the Sunrise Lake community in Sunrise and playing cards with his friends.
Surviving are his wife, Paulette Ricciotti; two sons, Eric Bauman and wife Elisa and Todd Bauman and wife Sunday; two daughters, Lisa Sorgie, and Marci Wishnick and husband Kenn; and many loving grandchildren and great grandchildren.
The viewing will be held at the Higgins Memorial Home, 20 Center Street, Freehold on Wednesday, October 30, 2025 from 11 a.m. to noon. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home at noon followed by interment at Maplewood Cemetery, Freehold.
