With profound sadness, we announce the passing of Rose Pizzuti (nee Stavalo), 70, on March 22, 2025.
Rose was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother, and a loyal friend to anyone who had the pleasure of knowing and loving her.
Rose passed peacefully, surrounded by her family, at Cooperman Barnabas Medical Center, Livingston NJ after battling illness for months.
Rose was preceded in death by the love of her life, Richard Pizzuti, on August 13, 2024.
She was born at Margaret Hague Hospital in Jersey City, New Jersey on June 25, 1954 to the late Frank and Loretta Stavalo (nee Lisi).
Rose was the second oldest of four siblings Frank Stavalo, Jr., Loretta Schreckenstein, Domenick Stavalo, and the late Lisa Stavalo. As the oldest female in the family cooking and running a house was second nature to Rose. She loved to cook and spoil anyone who had the pleasure to sit at her table with her late husband, Rich, her two children, Rick and Rachele, and five grandchildren Rocco, Ricky, Anthony, Gianna and Jade Rose. Holidays were always filled with fun and laughter.
Everyone that knew Rose would say she always had a big beautiful smile on her face and was a genuinely happy person.
She found so much joy with her family and friends after raising her two children she decided to go back to the workforce and share her happiness and infectious smile with the people at Coach, Carlstadt NJ until her retirement. Rose will truly be missed by her friends, family, and loved ones. The world truly will miss this angel on earth.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at Nazare Memorial Home, Inc., 403 Ridge Road, Lyndhurst, NJ on Thursday, March 27, 2025 from 3-7 PM. All will gather at the funeral home Friday, March 28 at 9 AM then to Mount Carmel Church, Lyndhurst where at 10 AM a funeral mass will be offered. Interment, Hillside Cemetery, Lyndhurst.
