Rose Przekop Obituary
Beloved wife of the late Gerald. Loving mother of Deborah (Bruce) Lenz, Steven (Crystal) Przekop and Vincent Prezkop (Jen Clark). Proud grandmother of Ken Prezkop, Stephanie (Brandon) Markey, Rebecca (Brian) Janowak, Maria Prezkop, Elizabeth (Michael Wenstup) Lenz, Laurence Prezkop and Julia Prezkop. Proud great-grandmother of Brayden Janowak, Barrett Janowak, Benjamin Markey, Morgan Rose Markey. Dear sister of Richard (the late Patricia) Turonek and sister-in-law of Marilyn Prezkop. Preceded in death by her parents, Peter and Sophie; brothers, Al (Gladys) Turonek and Ed (Eleanor) Turonek; and brother-in-law Larry Przekop.
Rose was married 54 loving years to Gerald until his passing. Rose was very active at St. Blase Catholic Church where she was a parishioner since 1967. Rose loved singing in the church choir. Rose was well loved by her friends and family, who admired her fun personality. In her free time, she enjoyed travel and her exercise classes. Rose also enjoyed a good martini, best made with Grey Goose and blue cheese olives. Red wine and dark chocolate were staples to her dinnertime (it was heart healthy!) She will be greatly missed by her family and many friends.
Instate Tuesday 9:00am at St. Blase Catholic Church 12151 Fifteen Mile until 9:30am Mass. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to The Capuchins or the St. Blase Choir. Share memories with the family at their "On-Line Guestbook" @ WujekCalcaterra.com.
