Rose Hall Scott, a beloved member of the Canton community, passed away on Thursday, October 19, 2023, in Haywood County. She was born on May 13, 1950 in Haywood County, to her loving parents, the late Ernest and Ruth Lindsay Hall.
Rose's life was one filled with love, joy, and devotion to her family and friends. She will be remembered for her warm smile, kind heart, and unwavering support for those she cared about. Her passing leaves a void in the lives of all who knew her.
In addition to her parents, Rose was preceded in death by her husband Jackie Scott; and a son, Tracey Parker. While their loss has been deeply felt by Rose's loved ones, they take solace in knowing that she is now reunited with them in eternal peace.
Rose is survived by her two grandsons, Drew Parker (Morgan) of Canton, and Chase Parker (Corinne) of Greenville, SC. She cherished her role as a grandmother and leaves behind beautiful memories that will forever be treasured by Drew and Chase. Additionally, Rose is survived by her two sisters, Susan Israel and Darlene Leffler, both of Canton; one brother, Ernie Hall of Clyde; and one great grandson, Weston Parker. Rose was blessed with a loving family who stood by her through thick and thin.
In addition to the love she poured into her family life, Rose made lasting connections within the community. Her warm spirit attracted many friends who will always remember the kindness she extended to everyone she encountered. Her impact on the lives she touched will never be forgotten.
A visitation to honor Rose's life will be held on Friday, October 27, 2023 at the Wells Funeral Homes & Cremation Services of Canton. The visitation will begin at 6:00 p.m. and conclude at 8:00 p.m.
As we say our final goodbyes to Rose, let us remember her for the love she shared, the joy she brought, and the countless lives she touched. May her soul rest in eternal peace, and her memory forever be a blessing to all who knew her.
