She was employed as a guard at the Baltimore City jail and obtained an A.A. degree from Carroll Community College. Rose enjoyed music and singing, had a great sense of humor and was an all around people person to all who knew her.
She is survived by sisters Sarah R. Miller (Richard) of Baltimore and Mary L. Shreve (David) of Hanover, PA. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by a sister Ruth A. Hernandez.
The family will receive friends on Friday, August 29, 2025 from 10 to 11 a.m. at Fletcher Funeral & Cremation Services, 254 E. Main St., Westminster. Funeral services will begin at 11 a.m. Interment will follow at Crestlawn Memorial Gardens, Marriottsville, MD.
Memorial contributions may be made in her name to the American Cancer Society at www.cancer.org
