Rose Sophiea Obituary
Publish in a newspaper
Adored by all who knew her, Rose was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and dear friend to many. She dedicated her life to her family and to the church, spending many years as the secretary at St. George Antiochian Orthodox Church of Troy.
Rose is preceded in death by her loving husband, Marvin Sophiea and her sisters - Miriam Ajluni, Janet Ajluni, Jeanie LaBudie and Gloria Sirhan.
Many are left who will deeply miss and fondly remember Rose, including her sister, Ellie Fahoome, her beloved children, Karen Loafman (Tom), Albert Sophiea (Chyrel), Diane Sophiea and her grandchildren, Joseph and Katherine Hertler, Jaclyn, Daniel and David Sophiea. Rose is also survived by cherished great grandchildren, Alexander and Maxwell.
Visitation for Rose will be held Friday, August 29th, from 4-8pm, at St. George Antiochian Orthodox Church, 2160 E. Maple Rd., Troy, MI 48083. A Prayer Service will be held at 7pm. Rose's Funeral Service will be Saturday, August 30th, 11am, at St. George Church. Friends may begin visiting at 10am.
