Rose was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, great great grandmother, sister and friend passed away on July 22, 2024.
Rose was born March 26, 1945 in Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan to Hugo J. Hill and Lucille Hill.
Rose married her sweetheart of 57 years to Larry on August 24, 1967. She was the mother of David Conway and Jarrod Thorsted (wife Palina).
She was the grandmother of 5, David Conway Jr. (Davie) (Wife Kim), Andrew Conway, Marissa Conway, Courtney Thorsted (Husband Trevor), Kalab Thorsted. She was the step grandmother of Destiny and Mercedes. She was the great grandmother of Matt, Kaylee, Ashley and Alex.
Rose was a sister of 8 brothers and sisters, Patricia, Barbara, Kathleen, April, Joe, Mike, Tommy and Ronny. She was the great great grandmother of Athena and Isabelle.
Rose was preceded in death, Father (Hugo), Mother (Lucille), her son David Conway, Sister Patricia.
Rose had a generous heart and was willing to help her family no matter what. She loved to help or give everyone ideas on making things look so much better like flower beds or your home. She loved painting, gardening and decorating. She loved traveling with Larry and was always on the move. Rose loved yard sales and playing card games with her family and friends. She loved to get together with family and friends. She did worry about her family all the time and we loved her for that.
She was passionate about her religion and her politics. Larry and her were sealed in the temple years ago and she always enjoyed her talks with church members.
Rose will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. Her legacy of positive attributes, such as kindness and generosity, will live on in the hearts of those she touched.
Her life was a testament to the power of love, family, laughter, and her memory will continue to inspire us all.
Graveside Services will be held at the Ogden City Cemetery August 2, 2024 at 11 am at 1875 Monroe Blvd, Ogden, UT 84401.
