Lacerenza-Macari Family Funeral HomeRose Ann Verrastro of Stamford, CT passed away on Saturday, November 15, 2025.
Rose was born on May 5, 1930, the daughter of the late Phillip and Catherine Durso Forlenzo.
Rose is survived by her Daughter Donna Gallo (Keith) and Daughter in Law Barbara Verrastro, Grandchildren Scott Verrastro, Alan Verrastro (Suzanne), Krista Verrastro (Tyler) Serena Gallo Nelson (Scott) Jason Gallo (RosAnn), Joseph Gallo (Angelique), Michael Gallo (Cami) and Zachary Gallo. Great Grandchildren Rio Rose, Astraea, Chevy, Corbin and Cruze. And many Nieces and Nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband Vito Verrastro, daughter Maryann Verrastro, son Robert Verrastro, her 7 sisters and 1 brother.
Family and friends will be received on Friday, November 21st, from 6 pm to 8 pm at Lacerenza Macari Family Funeral Home, 8 Schuyler Avenue, Stamford, CT. A Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, November 22nd, at 9:30 a.m. at Sacred Heart R.C. Church, 37 Schuyler Avenue, Stamford, CT.
Burial will immediately follow at St. John Cemetery, 25 Camp Avenue, Darien, CT.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Wounded Warriors, Tunnels to Towers or St Jude's Children's Hospital.
The family would like to thank Mom's caregiver Luz who provided much love, compassion, kindness and joy to her.
