Roseanna M. Weyer, 88, of Lewistown, peacefully entered into the presence of her Lord and Savior on Sunday, July 6, 2025, at her home surrounded by her daughters. Born on June 28, 1937, in Altoona, she was the daughter of the late Paul P. and Rose M. (Long) Gerhard. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Richard G. "Dick" Weyer, Jr., who passed away on January 8, 1979, as well as her siblings, Paul X. Gerhard, Otto H. Gerhard, Alfred R. Gerhard, and Margaret B. Gerhard. She was the last of her immediate family. Earlier in life, alongside her husband, Roseanna owned and operated Schulman's Sporting Goods. She later worked at W.E. Henry Optometrist, where she was a valued employee until her retirement in 1997. A devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, Roseanna's greatest joy was found in her family. She is survived by her daughters: Diane W. Stewart and husband Edward, and Christine L. Burlew and husband Doug, all of Lewistown; and Linda S. Phillippy and companion Kevin Lemaire, of North Carolina. She was a proud and loving grandmother to Richard C. Stewart and wife Amanda, Joseph E. Stewart and wife Kristen, and Jeffrey L. Phillippy and wife Caitlin. Her legacy continues through her cherished great-grandchildren: Aspen Rose, Ella Marie, Everly Mae, Sadie Grace, Jackson Charles, and Mia Anne Stewart. Her family was truly the light of her life. For 68 years, Roseanna was a faithful and active member of Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church. Her deep faith also guided her service through the St. Vincent De Paul Society, where she gave generously of her time and compassion. Roseanna found joy and sisterhood in the Red Hat Society, and her presence was a constant at her grandchildren's and great-grandchildren's sporting events and activities. She will be remembered for her unwavering support, her nurturing spirit, and her willingness to help anyone in need. A visitation will be held from 9:30 to 11:00 a.m. on Friday, July 11, 2025, at King-Barr Funeral Home, 120 Logan Street, Lewistown. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11:15 a.m. at Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church, 106 N Dorcas Street, with Father Kevin Coyle officiating. Interment will take place at Juniata Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Roseanna's honor to the St. Vincent De Paul Society, 3 W Monument Sq, Ste 203, Lewistown, PA 17044.
