Irma L. Weyer, 102, of Sedalia, MO, passed away on September 21, 2025, at Good Samaritan Care Center in Cole Camp, MO. She was born on December 29, 1922, in Oberhausen, Germany.
Irma immigrated to Whiteman Air Force Base in Knob Noster, MO, from Germany in the early 1950s and became a U.S. citizen in 2004. She worked at Lamy's and retired from Town and Country Shoes in 1986. Irma enjoyed the outdoors, loved animals, gardening, cooking, playing bingo, and doing crosswords. She especially cherished attending her son's and grandchildren's sporting events.
Irma is survived by one son, Mark Wheeler, two grandchildren, Charlie Wheeler (Maggie), and Samantha Stein (Stephen); and one great-grandson, Hudson Stein.
Besides her parents, Irma is preceded in death by her siblings.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Sedalia Animal Shelter, in the care of Rea Funeral Chapel.
