Darlene (Brown) Weyer, 72, of Evansville, Indiana passed away on Friday, September 5, 2025 at her home.

Darlene was born on January 19, 1953, in Evansville, Indiana to the late Betty (Phillips) Brown and Pat Brown. Darlene was a graduate of Bosse High School. She worked at Kent Plastics, and she also sold Real Estate and Insurance. Darlene worked in the jewelry department at J.C. Penny and worked alongside her husband at the family business, Carpetland USA. She belonged to the Life Tabernacle Church of God and was a member of the Eagle's. During her free time, Darlene enjoyed wallpaper hanging, boating on the Ohio River, and spending time with her beloved grandchildren. She will always be remembered for her love and generous spirit.

Darlene is survived by her son, Daymond Pruiett of Princeton, IN; grandchildren, Kelsea Pruiett, Kyle Pruiett and Kayla Pruiett; sisters, Debbie Dant of Evansville, IN, Kim Dwojak (Jerome) of Newburgh, IN and Karen Durbin (David) of Evansville, IN; brothers, Earl Brown (Kathy Robinson) and Randy Brown both of Evansville, IN; and several uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Darlene was preceded in death by her husband of 22 years, Raymond Lloyd Weyer; and her parents.

A memorial service will be celebrated at 10:00 am on Saturday, October 18, 2025 at Life Tabernacle Church of God, 5401 Vogel Rd, Evansville, IN 47715 with Brother S.E. Carroll officiating.

Friends may visit from 9:00 am until service time on Saturday at the church.

Memorial contributions may be made to Feed Israel Foundation, 5229 New Utrecht Ave. Suite 400, Brooklyn, NY 11219.

We would like to give a special thank you to our sister Debbie Dant for all the care she has provided Darlene over the last few years and the staff at Gentiva Hospice for the care and compassion extended to Darlene.
