It is with heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Roselani Simeona Utley, beloved wife, mother, and friend, who departed this life on November 22, 2025, at the age of 65. Born on May 27, 1960, Roselani touched the lives of many with her kindness, warmth, and unwavering faith.
Roselani met her husband, Joseph Utley, in Hawaii, where their beautiful journey together began. They married on October 3, 1978, and together traveled across the United States during his service in the Army. Their passion for adventure brought them to many places, but nothing brought her more joy than spending time in their RV exploring the beautiful landscapes of Arkansas.
A devoted member of Sonlight Baptist Church, Roselani cherished her time in worship and community, where she frequently shared her beautiful voice in song. She leaves behind a legacy of love and devotion to her family and friends.
Roselani is survived by her loving husband, Joseph Utley; her three adoring children: Mele Utley, Joseph Lee Utley, II, and James David Utley; grandchildren, Dessie Marie Clark, Emily Lynn Starr, Lana Noelle Utley, and Gavin Winfield Fitts; and great-grandson, Edward Schoolcraft. She leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and lasting memories that will continue to inspire her family and friends.
Roselani was preceded in death by her parents; her loving daughter, Michelle Utley; and sister, Caroline.
Rest in peace, Roselani. Your spirit will forever shine in the hearts of those who loved you.
