STRUTHERS - Roselyn K. Hamilton, 87, passed away peacefully, Friday morning, Jan. 16, 2026, at St. Elizabeth Boardman Hospital.
Roselyn was born Dec. 28, 1938, in Youngstown, a daughter of the late Christian and Katherine Catanzaro Mang, and was a lifelong area resident.
She was a 1957 graduate of North High School and worked in the billing department at Northside Hospital in her younger years before devoting her life to raising and caring for her family.
Mrs. Hamilton was a faithful member of Struthers United Methodist Church, where she was active in the Women’s Society, served as a Sunday school teacher and generously volunteered her time with various church committees and functions. Her faith and dedication to service were an important part of her life.
Roselyn leaves to forever cherish her memory her three children, April (Joseph) Sefcik of Struthers, Robert Hamilton of Struthers and Victoria (Jeffrey) Naples of Middlefield, Ohio; six grandchildren, Kaitlyn (Clark) Searfoss, Zachary (Stefany) Sefcik, John Sefcik, Daniel (Ziomara) Sefcik, Adriana Naples and Dominic Naples; five great-grandchildren, Stella, Natalie, Jamie, TJ and Brock; and her brother, Sonny (Andrea) Mang of Austintown.
Her husband of 42 years, Ronald R. Hamilton, whom she married Aug. 19, 1961, died Oct. 17, 2003.
She was also preceded in death by two infant daughters, Maureen and Christine; and two siblings, Delores Barnhart and Ronald Mang.
Family and friends may call from noon to 1 p.m. Monday, Jan. 19, 2026, at Kinnick Funeral Home, 477 N. Meridian Rd., Youngstown, where a funeral service will be held at 1 p.m.
Private interment will take place at Lake Park Cemetery in Youngstown, where Roselyn will be laid to rest beside her beloved husband.
In lieu of flowers, Roselyn’s family suggests memorial contributions be made to the donor’s favorite charity in Roselyn’s memory.
The family would like to extend a sincere thank you to the staff at Mercy Health and Expand Rehabilitation for their kindness and compassionate care.
