On May 23, 1931, Rosemarie was born in Youngstown, OH to the late John and Catherine Evans.
Rosemarie married her beloved husband, James Elias, Sr. on June 18, 1950. James preceded her in death on June 17, 2007.
Rosemarie had previously worked at Joseph's Supermarket, as a bookkeeper at Strouss Department Store, and as a cook at Edison Manor.
Rosemarie was an active member of St. John the Baptist Maronite Church where she was a member of the Altar and Rosary Society. She also enjoyed sewing and was very artistic. Most of all she cherished the time she spent with friends and family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Rosemarie is survived by her children; Cathy Calabrese (Peter), Pam Wolf, Stephen Elias, and John Elias; nine grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and husband, Rosemarie was preceded in death by two sons, infant James and James Elias, Jr; grandson, Michael Elias; and siblings, Clara, John, and Teresa.
A Memorial Mass will be held on Saturday, July 5 at 11:00 a.m. at St. John the Baptist Maronite Church. Arrangements have been entrusted to Ed & Don DeCarbo Funeral Home, 941 S. Mill St. Online condolences may be offered at decarbofh.com
