Rosemarie H. McNett

Visitation for Rosemarie Hansen McNett, age 95, of Fountain Hills, Arizona, will be held Monday, October 6, 2025, from 10:00a.m. until the time of the Celebration of Life Service at 11:00a.m. at the Ahlgrim Family Funeral Home, 201 N. Northwest Highway, Palatine, IL. The Interment will follow at St. Micheal the Archangel Cemetery in Palatine.

Rosemarie passed away peacefully on Thursday, July 24, 2025, in Scottsdale Arizona. Born to Joseph and Marguerite (Kaiser) Hansen on Saturday, July 5, 1930, causing her parents to miss the July 4th Fireworks that she was reminded of every July 4th. Married in December 1951 to Donald Joseph McNett, they lived in Texas and Skokie, IL, before settling in Palatine with their five children.

Rosemarie traveled widely with friends and family. Had a great time showing her champion Golden Retrievers Sean, Clancey, Ace & Asia and Border Collie Derby. Gramma Rosie loved spoiling her grandchildren with Beanie Babies and Christmas Ornaments.

Survived by her children Patricia McNett-Green, Thomas McNett, Kevin McNett and Marilou Zichittella; Her grandchildren Martess Green, Dannielle, Kelly & Megan McNett and Kyle & Thomas Zichittella; Her sister Virginia (the late David) Radler and nieces & nephews.

Preceded in death by her parents Joseph & Marguerite Hansen; her former husband Donald J. McNett; her son Daniel J. McNett; her brother James J. Hansen; son-in-law Anthony J. Zichittella; daughter-in-law Julianne LeMay McNett.
