Rosemary Franz-Cooper of Doylestown, PA passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Thursday, February 8, 2024 in the Doylestown Hospital, Doylestown PA.
Born in Philadelphia, PA to the late John and Helen (Litka) Weiseman. As a young girl her formative years were spent in the Catholic Home for girls. These were challenging years for her that defined the course of her lifetime. She went on to study at Mastbaum Vocational High School in Philadelphia, PA. Besides a loving wife and mother, Rosemary was formerly employed as an administrative assistant at Pioneer Electronics in Horsham, PA and then Van Cleef engineering in Doylestown, PA prior to moving to the Carolina Shore area some 25 years ago.
She was an avid reader, enjoyed exercise and walking on Sunset Beach in Carolina Shores. She always took great pride in her home, her own style and personal appearance. There was nothing that gave her more joy than hearing stories from her children or grandchildren about their latest endeavors or achievements
Rosemary was the loving wife of Eddie Lee Cooper; devoted mother to Celeste Susan Coleman (Glenn), Dr. Caren Franz, and the late Christina Lynn Weber; dear sister Evelyn Kelsey and Joan "Jacy" Daly; loving grandmother to Toni Weber Sykes (Kenny),Robert "BJ" Benedetto Jr. (Elizabeth), Ryan Weber (Sarabeth), Stephanie Stroud (Brian) and Matthew Coleman. She is also survived by eight great-grandchildren Timothy Sykes, Logan, Lincoln and Ledger Benedetto, Camden, Kyleigh, Raegen and Holden Weber.
She will be laid to rest with our father Walter John Franz who preceded her in death and will be awaiting her as she makes her journey to join him for eternity.
Services will be at the Whitemarsh Memorial Park – Wayside Chapel, 1169 Limekiln Pike, Ambler, PA 19002 on Friday, February 16, 2024 at 12:00 pm with burial to immediately follow.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to a charity of your choice in Rosemary's honor.

Aunt Rosemary, my mother's sister, confidant, best friend, you were there for her through the bad times and the good, I wish we would have stayed closer, but in the end you were there for her, and now you will meet again. Rest in peace Terry

Rosemary was so enamored with my son, Timothy. She treated him like her own child at times, as she never had a boy herself. She was so loving and spoiled him rotten. It was a side of her that not alot of people saw. She was a stern mother and grandmother from my memory, but when it came to Timothu, he was an angel who could do no wrong. She showered him with affection any opportunity she got.
