Rosemary Medd, 101, of Appleton, WI, passed away peacefully in her community at Dimensions Living, surrounded by her loving children and grandchildren, on January 17, 2025. Rosemary was born on August 31, 1923 to the late John and Mary (Hermsen) Peerenboom.
Rosemary lived a remarkable life, marked by her love for family, faith, and friends. She will be remembered for her generosity, strength, kindness, humor and the profound impact she had on all who knew her.
Rosemary is survived by her children Candace (Tim) McGuire, Mary Medd, Christopher “CJ” Medd, Jean Dennis, Barbara (Steven) Steele, Patrick Medd and James (Sue Gregoire) Medd; her grandchildren Kimberly (Ryan) Zehner, Bradly Tarrence, Morgan Medd, John “Max” Dennis and Charles Dennis; her sister-in-law Betty Peerenboom; as well as a long list of nieces and nephews, all of which she adored.
Rosemary was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Lionel “Pete”, her son Tim, and her siblings Joe (Betty) Peerenboom, Joanie (Clyde) Koehn, Rob (Mary Lou) Peerenboom and Jim Peerenboom.
A funeral service for Rosemary will be held on Friday, January 31, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Thomas More Catholic Church, 1810 N. McDonald St. in Appleton, WI, with visitation beginning at 9:00 am until the time of service. Internment will take place at St. John Nepomucene Catholic Cemetery in Little Chute. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, in Rosemary’s memory.
Rosemary’s life, filled with love, grace, and devotion to her family, will be cherished by all who knew her.
