Rosemary Miller, age 76, of Wabash, Indiana, passed away on November 13, 2025, at Vernon Manor in Wabash. She was born on July 24, 1949 in Elwood, Indiana, to Noah Elsworth and Carrie June (Gillian) Miller. Rosemary grew up on a farm near Atlanta, Indiana.
Despite losing her eyesight at birth, Rosemary developed a profound love for music. She was able to play the organ with a particular fondness for Gospel music, the sounds of Lawrence Welk, and country western tunes. Additionally, she enjoyed listening to television sitcoms, soap operas, and sports broadcasts.
Rosemary is survived by her sister, Elizabeth"Betty" Schmitt of Tipton; her niece, Debby Netherton and her husband, Steve; as well as her great-nephews, Brandon Netherton and his wife KayLee, and Drew Netherton and his wife Rachel.
A graveside service will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Monday, November 17, at Arcadia Cemetery, with Steve Brown presiding. Visitation will take place on Monday from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Young-Nichols Funeral Home.
Memorial contributions may be made in Rosemary's honor to Riley Hospital for Children, 30 S. Meridian Street, Suite 200, Indianapolis, Indiana, 46204-3509.
