Rosemary Mills, 92, of Pittsburgh, passed away on Thursday, August 8, 2024. The daughter of the late Stephen and Catherine (Staub) Mitterer, she was born on June 1, 1932.
Rosemary loved camping, going on cruises and traveling. She also loved dancing and music, crocheting, sewing and crafts, as well as making picture albums.
She is survived by her loving companion of 18 years, Neil Voigt; children Valerie (Larry) Hutchinson, Glenn Mills, Gary Mills, Ralph (Rebecca) Mills, and Cheryl (Richard) Stroud; grandchildren Kenneth Mills, Ryan Hutchinson, Shane Mills, Vincenzo Stroud, and Amanda Mills, great grandchildren Aries and Jadyn Mills and Riley and Caleb Hutchinson; a sister Catherine Kraski and brother John Mitterer, as well as the entire Voigt family.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Wallace Mills; siblings Dorothy, Anna, James Mitterer and Joan Steinhauser.
Family and friends are welcome Tuesday August 13, 2024 from 5-8 PM at WILLIAM SLATER II FUNERAL SERVICE, 1650 Greentree Rd., Scott Twp., 15220 (412-563-2800). Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Wednesday August 14, 2024 at 10 AM at St. Raphael the Archangel Parish, SS Simon and Jude Church. Burial will follow at Mt. Lebanon Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital at www.stjude.org/donate or planting a tree in Rosemary’s memory at www.arborday.org.
