Rosemary Patricia Uberti (Artero), of
Troy, Michigan, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, February 10, 2026, at the age of 78. Born on January 7, 1948, in
Detroit, Michigan, she was the cherished daughter of George and Frances (Wloszek) Artero. Rosemary was the devoted wife of the late John Osvaldo Uberti, whom she married on December 21, 1968. She was the loving mother of Jeffrey Uberti and Jennifer DiMaggio, treasured mother-in-law of Mandy Uberti and Nick DiMaggio, and adored grandmother of Gabrielle (Brad), Alexander, Luke, Nolan, Tabitha, and Ryan. Rosemary also took immense joy in her role as great-grandmother to Vera, Emmett, and Milo, to whom she was affectionately known as G.G.
Rosemary grew up in Highland Park, Michigan, alongside her six beloved siblings-Ann, Evelyn, Lorraine, Tom, George, and Betty-and often delighted in sharing treasured stories of their childhood with her own children. She embraced the Uberti family as her own, valuing the gatherings, memories, and laughter that united both families throughout her marriage to John. Her brothers- and sisters-in-law, as well as her many nieces and nephews, held a special place in her heart and brought immense happiness to her life.
Above all, Rosemary centered her life around family and friends, consistently placing the needs of others before her own. She gave her time and energy wholeheartedly, caring for aging relatives and little ones alike with patience, tenderness, and devotion. Her presence provided comfort and reassurance to those who depended on her. Rosemary was also a steadfast partner in John's professional life as a CPA, working alongside him for many years assisting with bookkeeping and helping to run his office. Clients, friends, and family were always genuinely welcomed, and appointments frequently turned into unhurried moments of connection, filled with stories, family updates, and shared laughter. Rosemary was equally appreciated by neighbors in both Warren and Troy, where she was known for her friendly nature and warm conversations shared in the yard. Rosemary's compassion extended to animals as well, and she instilled in her children and grandchildren a deep respect and gentle care for all living things.
