Rosemary passed away peacefully at Kobacker House in Columbus, Ohio, on November 14, 2025, surrounded by her family.

Service Information

The funeral will take place on Thursday, December 4, 2025, at Rutherford Funeral Homes & Crematories, 450 W. Olentangy Street, Powell, Ohio 43065. The family will receive guests from 2:00 to 4:00 PM, with the service beginning at 4:00 PM.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation in Rosemary's memory, in recognition of the care she gave to patients suffering with CF.

Her Life

Born in the village of Llandogo, Wales, Rosemary was the daughter of Margaret and Alfred Mullins. After attending boarding schools and Monmouth School for Girls, she began nursing training at Gloucester Royal Infirmary in 1960, inspired by her own experience as a patient during childhood.

Rosemary's nursing career spanned two decades and three countries. She earned qualifications as a midwife, registered sick children's nurse, and health visitor, working in roles from senior nurse to nurse manager across the United Kingdom and Canada. In 1980, she was appointed Assistant Director of Nursing at the Princess Grace Hospital in London.

That same year, Rosemary married John and moved with him to the United States, beginning a new chapter in her life. Shortly after arriving, she gave birth to her son, Thomas. Soon after she began helping friends with their garden center business, including bookkeeping, which sparked a new professional direction. Drawing on this experience, Rosemary made a remarkable career transition, becoming a Certified Public Accountant in 1989 after passing all sections of the CPA exam on her first attempt. When asked how she could shift from nursing to accounting, she noted that both professions required considerable attention to detail.

In January 1992, Rosemary and John founded their consulting company, John Wreathall & Co., Inc., where she served as Chief Financial Officer and business manager. Her entrepreneurial spirit also led her to become a realtor, reflecting her lifelong interest in homes and houses. She was a founding member of the Business Resource Group, an association of professionals covering a wide range of business services.

Throughout her accomplished career, Rosemary's greatest joys remained her family. She treasured guiding her children, Thomas and Cordelia, as they grew and adored spending time with her grandsons, Oliver and Archer. Rosemary loved gardening, both at the family's home in the south of France and in Ohio, which brought her deep satisfaction and peace.

Rosemary is survived by her husband, John; her children, Thomas and Cordelia; her grandsons, Oliver and Archer; and her sister, Veronica
