She graduated in 1995 with a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from the University of Osteopathic Medicine and Health Sciences(UOMHS) in Des Moines, Iowa; where she met her best friend, Jon Strutzenberg. After completing her residency in Columbus, OH, she traveled to the University of Illinois at Chicago to complete her Fellowship in Endocrinology, Diabetes, and Metabolism. She met Tim and they married in 1996 during their residency and moved to Ohio to pursue their careers in medicine. Angela worked for Central Ohio Primary Care for 24 years and was loved dearly by her patients and staff. Angela was diagnosed with Ovarian Cancer in 2013 and continued to work throughout her treatments until 2024. Her zest for life and Snoopy addiction prevailed, not to mention her love of Disney. She loved to scrapbook and enjoyed retreats throughout the years with her friends. The memories in her craft room contain the proof. Angela spent the last year of her life devoted to her sons, attended their graduations in May 2025, and watched them begin their careers. Angela did not know a stranger and believed that we should be kind to all. Throughout her medical struggles, she continued to offer help to those in need. Angela was proud of her tomatoes and flowers in her gardens and made sure to show everyone who stopped for a visit. She loved her family, especially when everyone would come to stay in their home for weekend visits and holidays. Angela will be deeply missed by all whose lives she touched. The family would like to thank the phenomenal care of Dr. Cohn, nurses, and staff at the James, and Ohio's Hospice Team throughout this difficult journey.
