Rosemary A. Yabroudy, 94, of Evansville, passed away Thursday, July 11, 2024 at Linda E. White Hospice House. She was born May 22, 1930 in Evansville to the late McKinley and Eula (Pendley) Rich.
Rosemary and her late husband, Robert M. Yabroudy who passed March 30, 2015, operated Mesker Amusement Park and later Yabroudy Amusement Park on Morgan and Boeke until 1964. Later they operated amusement rides at churches and county fairs throughout the tristate area. She was an alumnus of Academy Immaculate Conception in Ferdinand, IN. Rosemary was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church (City) and the Outdoor Amusement Business Association.
She is survived by her son, Met Yabroudy; sister-in-law, Selma Bellner; niece, Sheri (Terry) Smith; nephew, David (Cindy) Meeks; great nieces and nephews, Shawn and Ryan Smith and Stephanie Barnett; and very special caregivers.
Visitation will be from 9:30 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. Monday, July 15, 2024 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 618 E. Virginia St. A Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 a.m. at the church with Father Ted Tempel officiating.
Burial will be at St. Joseph Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to Linda E. White Hospice House, 611 Harriet St., Evansville, IN 47710 or St. Joseph Catholic Church, 618 E. Virgina St., Evansville, IN 47711.
