Rosie Aleen Barnes

A former Bloomfield resident, Mrs. Rosie Aleen Barnes age 92, passed away Friday, August 1, 2025, at her residence in Mount Washington. Aleen was born August 11, 1932, in Bloomfield to the late Neal and Virgie Kelien Yates. She was a retired employee of Kroger, where she had worked for 45 years and she loved doing diamond art. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Gary Reinle, three grandsons, David Parker Docherty, Sam and Cole Reinle, two brothers, Carl and Gerald Yates, and a sister, Marzetta Houghlin. She is survived by two daughters, Lana (Rick) Sanders of Mount Washington, Sheila Murray of Louisville, a son, Lynn (Kay) Reinle of Bardstown, six grandchildren and three great grandchildren also survive. In honoring Aleen's wishes, cremation was chosen by her family. Inurnment will be in Highview cemetery in Chaplin on Saturday, August 16, 2025, at 11:00 am. The Houghlin Funeral Home in Bloomfield is in charge of arrangements.
