Ross Allen Brannock, of O’Fallon, MO, died on Sunday, November 9, 2025 at the age of 34. He was born in Cape Girardeau, MO on March 9, 1991 to Kevin and Susan Brannock.
As a father, Ross loved to nurture his passion for the outdoors in his children, especially birdwatching, fishing, and nature conservation. Known for his caring personality and his quick wit, he always went the extra mile to show people compassion and to make them smile. Ross was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
Ross graduated from Cape Central High School in 2009 and went on to study business, marketing and graphic design at Hickey Business College, graduating in 2013. He enjoyed his profession and colleagues with a successful career in technology. His family is grateful to have recently found their church home at Messiah Lutheran in Weldon Spring.
Ross was a beloved husband of Ashley Lauren Brannock and devoted father to Eloise Belle and Liam Willis Frederick Brannock; a cherished brother of Dale (Alexandra) Brannock and Lance (Sophia Triantafyllopoulos) Brannock; loving son-in-law of Diane and Mark Strege; brother-in-law of Seth (Vanessa) Strege and Luke Strege; adoring uncle of Maren and Reid Brannock; Bastian, Beckham, and Bellamy Strege; and a close friend and relative to many more. Ross is preceded in death by his grandparents Vane William and Betty Belle Brannock; Richard Frederick and Marilyn Rose Dippold; Willis and Thelma Haertling; and Paul and Vercile Strege.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, November 15 at Messiah Lutheran Church, 5911 S Highway 94, Weldon Spring, MO 63304. Doors open at 10:30am with service at 11:00am.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that any donations be made directly to support their immediate needs. Above all, the family hopes that Ross’ spirit of kindness inspires you to pass on love and compassion to those in your life who need it most.
