Ross Alan Deweese, 57, of Port St Lucie, FL passed away at home on June 20, 2024 from a short battle with melanoma.
Ross was born in Lafayette, IN on March 2, 1967 to parents Rex Alan Deweese and Doreanne Campbell Deweese. He grew up in Rossville, IN and attended Rossville Consolidated School. After graduation, Ross received his Associate’s Degree in Electrical Engineering Technology from ITT and worked toward his Bachelor’s Degree from Purdue University.
He was an avid sports fan with Purdue Basketball being his all time favorite. Ross enjoyed cooking and baking as well as salt water fishing. His greatest passion was his family. He spent a majority of his free time with his children at their sporting events. Whether coaching or spectating, Ross never missed a game. He was a skilled machinist by trade but later became a business analyst. He was employed by Eaton Corporation where he was a cherished employee since 2000.
Ross is survived by his wife of almost 30 years Linda (nee Broman), children Benjamin Deweese and Allison Deweese both of Port St Lucie, FL, mother Doreanne Deweese of Rossville, IN, brother Ryan (Brittany) Deweese of Rossville, IN, sister Renee Simpson of Salem, IN, numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. He is predeceased by his father Rex Alan Deweese and grandparents Opal and Charles Campbell and Avis and Russell Deweese.
A visitation will be held on Tuesday June 25, 2024 from 10AM to 12PM with a service to begin at 12PM at the Haisley Tribute Center 2041 SW Bayshore Blvd Port St. Lucie, FL 34984.
