Ross Victor Leach, Sr. of O Fallon, MO, passed away Sunday, March 8, 2026 at the age of 90. Beloved husband of Alice Leach; cherished son of the late Ross Robinson Leach and the late Vera Goyette; devoted father of Ross Victor Leach, Jr. and Timothy Michael (Laurie) Leach; loving grandfather of Kristina (Ryan) Bennett, Alexander (Katherine Hill) Leach, Sean Leach and Alexandria Leach; great-grandfather to many; dear brother of Tom (Trudy) Goyette.
Ross, an Air Force veteran, was known as a hardworking and devoted family man. After retiring from military service, he discovered a deep passion for photography and woodworking. Ross had a special gift for capturing life’s moments through his camera, from simple everyday scenes to the beauty of nature. He often developed his own film, a hobby he cherished and shared with his beloved wife, Alice.
His creativity also shined through his woodworking. Ross loved crafting furniture and beautiful pieces of art, which he proudly gave to family and friends—gifts that will continue to remind them of his skill, generosity, and love.
Ross also had a passion for travel and exploring the world. He enjoyed taking many cruises and fulfilled a lifelong dream of visiting Germany to explore his family roots.
Ross was dearly loved and will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
Memorials may be made in Ross's name to National Kidney Foundation.
