Rossellyn Weir VIDLOCK

Age 81 Of Mahtomedi, Minnesota Born in Hannibal, Missouri, passed away peacefully on September 16, 2023. Roz suffered a fall while walking her dog on August 29th and developed complications from the head trauma. Roz was raised in Barry, Illinois, the only daughter of Kathryn and Cecil Weir. She graduated from University of Illinois—Champaign Urbana with a degree in accounting. Roz moved to Oklahoma where she met and married Gary Vidlock, an Air Force pilot. They settled in Burnsville, Minnesota where Roz was active in the St. James Church, Girl Scouts of Minnesota and worked as an accountant. Roz and Gary raised three children, Kathryn Ann (Brad) Vidlock Granley, Karen Diane (Mark) Vidlock Petersen, and Gary William Vidlock. Roz loved dogs, especially dachshunds and found great comfort from her beloved pets. She excelled in sewing and crafts, making quilts, cross stitch, and clothes for her grandchildren. She is survived by her husband; children; and eight grandchildren Jacob, Alyssa, Lily (Kathy), Megan, Quinn (Karen), Emily, Katie, and Garrett (Gary). Funeral will be at 11:30 AM on Friday, October 13th, 2023 at ST. ANDREW'S LUTHERAN CHURCH, 900 Stillwater Rd, Mahtomedi, MN. Visitation 10:30-11:30 AM.
