Roswitha "Rose" Emerson, 81 of Fayetteville passed away Thursday, April 10, 2025, in Cape Fear Valley Medical Center.
Roswitha was born in Strasbourg, France on May 11, 1943, daughter to the late Wilhelm Mueller and Theresia Buttner Kuhn. She loved crocheting, gardening and swimming, but mostly, she loved her family. She will be greatly missed by her family all who knew her.
She is survived by her husband, Art Emerson; children, Bobby Tatum (Suzie, spouse), Dorthy Richberg (Glover, spouse), Craig Tatum and Schawn Tatum; grandchildren, Jordan Malbrough, Barbara Jean Tatum, Alissa Malbrough, Ryan Snow, Shawn Ryan Tatum and Stella Tatum; great-grandchildren, Jaxson Malbrough and Lanasia Faulk; many extended family members and friends.
Visitation will be 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM Wednesday, April 16, 2025, at LaFayette Funeral Home, 6651 Raeford Road, Fayetteville, NC 28304.
A Service to Celebrate Rose’s life will follow at 12:00 PM.
