Roswitha Roop, 79 years old from Titusville, FL passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family on Tuesday, May 27, 2025.
Roswitha was born in Saabrucken, Germany on March 13, 1946, to her mother Hanalore Kaupp.
She graduated High School and attended college. She worked for many years at NASA, being a Supervisor at NASA Exchange. She would also go on to work at Pumpernickels Deli and Restaurant. She loved working at both of these places where she met lifelong friends and coworkers.
Roswitha was an avid bowler and traveled across country for tournaments with her bowling sisters! She had also been President of the Juvenile Diabetes Brevard Chapter after her son was diagnosed with the disease.
Roswitha is preceded in death by her son Jerry Alan, her ex-husband (and love of her life) Jerry, her mother Hanalore and three siblings.
Roswitha is survived by her daughter Nancy Larkins (Curtis), grandsons Michael Larkins (Katie), and Derek Larkins (Susan); granddaughter Katarina Human (Chris) and 7 great-grandchildren. Her sisters Christy Wilcox (Shane) and Sherry Drake; niece Marissa Calliham (James); as well as several other nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be held at 3:00 pm on Tuesday, June 3rd, 2025, in the North Brevard Funeral Home, 1450 Norwood Avenue, Titusville, FL 32796. A viewing will be held Tuesday from 2:00 pm until the time of the service. Burial will follow at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens, Titusville, FL.
