Roy Andrews

Mr. Roy Andrews, a beloved husband, devoted father, cherished brother, and esteemed member of the community was born on April 25, 1969, in Vakathanam, Kerala, India. Roy was the first son and third child of the esteemed Puthuveli family, born to P. P. Anthrayose and Mariama Anthrayose. Alongside his sisters, Regi Das, Omana Sajan, and Maya Jacob, he was raised in a God-fearing and pious household, where he embraced the teachings of Christ from a young age.
Renowned for his unwavering faith and dedication to God, Roy emerged as a guiding light within his family, earning a reputation as a steadfast and reliable brother. His journey led him to meet the love of his life, Sinimol Joseph, with whom he shared 25 years of marital bliss. Together, they were blessed with two beautiful children, Ria Roy and Jerry Andrews, who were the pride and joy of his life.
Roy's pursuit of education led him to attain a degree in India, following which he embarked on a journey that spanned continents. Settling in Kuwait, he honed his skills as a draftsman at Al-Ahleia Switchgear Co., where he dedicated 18 years to his craft. Later, he ventured to the United States, where he found fulfillment as an electrician at the New York Transit Authority (MTA), a role he embraced until his final days. For the past three years, he resided in Montville, New Jersey, where he found solace and community.
A pillar of faith and strength, Roy and his family found a home at St. Thomas Orthodox Church in Flanders, NJ, where he was revered for his craftsmanship and his reputation as a skilled repairer. His generous spirit and culinary talents were legendary, as he expressed his love for others through his cooking and selfless acts of assistance.
In the hearts of those who knew him, Roy will forever remain a beacon of love, kindness, and unwavering faith. Roy's legacy of love and service will endure, a testament to a life lived with purpose and devotion. Roy will forever be remembered, his memories forever etched into our hearts and minds.
