Roy Burris, 76, of Marble, North Carolina, passed away on Tuesday, January 23, 2024, at Hayesville House. Roy was born July 8, 1947, in Andrews, NC to Onlie and Lelia Burris.
Roy was preceded in death by father, Onlie Burris; mother, Lelia Morgan; sister, Ada Ferguson; brother, Carol Burris; brother, Boyd Burris
He is survived by Sandra Burris (Spouse), Emily (Drew) Young (Daughter), Kevin (Jennifer) Burris (Son), Vina Martin (Sister), Becky Smith (Sister), Carolyn Henson (Sister), Sidney Burris (Brother), Josh Burris (Grandson), Emma Burris (Granddaughter), Autumn Young (Granddaughter), Lila Young (Granddaughter), Elliot Young (Grandson)
The family will receive friends at Cochran Funeral Homes of Murphy on Saturday, January 27, 2024 from 3:00pm-4:00pm.
Memorial Service, on Saturday January 27, 2024 at 4:00 PM at Cochran Funeral Homes of Murphy with Rev. Toby Roehm officiating.
The following gentlemen will serve as honorary pallbearers, Larry Morgan, Rickey Mathis, Clyde Younce, Attle Morrow, Doyle McClure, Wendall McClure, Rickey Palmer, Darrell McClure.
