Roy spent many years as a truck driver and enjoyed traveling and seeing new places. He had a passion for listening to country music and singing the songs that spoke to his heart. Roy was also an avid outdoorsman, enjoyed being in nature and loved to hunt and fish. Above all else, Roy's family was the most important to him. Roy was a devoted family man, and his memory will live on in the hearts of all those fortunate enough to have known him.

Roy is survived by his wife, Sandra Crippin; children, Larry Joe Burris, Lois Jean Burris, Tresa Kay Gilmore and husband, Randy, Melissa Kay Myers and husband, Terry, Montie Jo Motes and husband, Charles and Sheila Gail Herman; 19 grandchildren; 49 great grandchildren; 6 great-great grandchildren; brother, Larry Joe Crippin; sister, Beverly Randell and husband, Richard; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins along with a host of other family, friends and loved ones.
