Roy Odell Duncan, of O Fallon, MO, passed away Tuesday, April 23, 2024 at the age of 81. Beloved husband of 62 years to the love of his life, Betty Duncan; cherished son of the late Roy and Ruby Duncan; devoted father of Cindy (Tom) Roettger and Vicky Ann Lewis; loving grandfather of Erica (Brian) Vogt, Matthew (Kelly) Roettger and Jared (Kelsey) Lewis; treasured great-grandfather of Adele Vogt, Austin Vogt, Lester Roettger, Averie Lewis and Baylee Lewis; dear brother of Hazel (the late R.D.) Levings, Lonnie (Kathy) Duncan, Don (Brenda) Duncan, Dean (Kathy) Duncan, Dennis (Sandy) Duncan, Debbie (Randy) Boulware, the late Olivia Bryant, the late Orville Duncan, the late Owen Duncan and the late Orma Duncan; brother-in-law of Kay (the late Bob) Hartz and Terry Weissenbach; Roy was also a beloved uncle and friend to many.
Roy was a member of the Machinist Union. He was a selfless, devoted man to his family and cherished time spent with his grandchildren; taking them hunting, fishing and visiting Silver Dollar City. In his free time, Roy enjoyed working in his yard and garden and attending truck and tractor pulls. Roy was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
Memorials may be made in Roy's name to St Jude's Children's Hospital.
