Roy Fields Obituary
Roy Milton Fields, age 79 of St. Pauls, NC passed away on Thursday August 31, 2023, at UNC Southeastern Health, Lumberton, NC.
Milton was born April 24, 1944, in St. Pauls to the late Roy William Fields and Elois Allen Fields.
Milton was a self-employed farmer.; prior to becoming self-employed he worked with Burlington Mills and the Raleigh New & Observer.
Milton is survived by his long-time partner, Robin Blount and her children, Heather Blount (Joseph), Wren Rice (David), Denise Dodson (Robert) and Amber Estela. Also left to cherish his memories are his sister, Mary McDonald (Hooker); his brothers Harold Fields (Peggy) and Jerry Fields (Debbie). Also, special friends Terry and Diane Jones; numerous nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.
A graveside service will be conducted Sunday September 3, 2023, at 4:00pm, at Great Marsh Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Sunday, September 3, 2023, from 2:45pm until 3:45pm at McNeill-Legacy Funeral Home and other times at the home of Jerry and Debbie Fields.
