Roy Thomas "Tommy" Huskey II, age 58, a lifelong resident of Cleveland, TN became one of Heaven's newest angels on October 9, 2024. He was born in Cleveland, TN on June 17, 1966, a son of the late Roy & Ernestine Huskey. Tommy worked for 37 years at Magic Chef/Maytag/Whirlpool. He and his first wife Cheryl spent 33 years together. During that time, they enjoyed many years riding with "The White-Water Wing of Cleveland Gold Wing Road Riders". They also spent much time working together loving and training their beautiful Sequoyah German Shepherd dogs. After Cheryl's passing, he met and married Ann and they loved traveling, continuing to train dogs and simply enjoying each other's company.
In addition to his parents, he is also preceded in death by his first wife Cheryl Crick Huskey, his father-in-law David Crick and his brother-in-law Roger Crick.
Tommy leaves behind to cherish his memory his loving wife Ann Huskey, one sister and brother-in-law Pam & Bobby Simmons, one niece Jenni Simmons, one great niece Rhylee Simmons, two stepdaughters Kelly Borres (Luke) and Holly Johnson, mother-in-law Juanita Crick, sisters-in-law Paula Cole (Bruce) and Pattie Crick, brother-in-law David Lee Crick (Debbie), numerous other extended family members and host of special friends.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, October 12, 2024, from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM in the Shelli Cody Memorial Sanctuary of the Ridge Chapel at Companion Funeral Home located at 2412 Georgetown Road in Cleveland, TN. A service celebrating his life will follow the visitation time at 1:00 PM with Mr. Andrew Johnson and Mr. Avery Johnson officiating.
The interment and committal service will follow in the Union Grove Church of Christ Cemetery with family and friends serving as pallbearers.
In lieu of flowers, please make a memorial donation in Tommy's memory to either the local Humane Society or the charity of your choice. The family would like to say a special thank you to Dr. Edward Arrowsmith (TN Oncology) and to Gentiva Hospice nurse Cocoa, Crystal, Angie and Janice and Dr. Terry Melvin for their wonderful care of Tommy and his family during his illness.
