Roy Tasso Mullett was born on August 16, 1956, in Frankfurt, Germany. When he was 6 years old, his dad retired from the Army and his family returned to Bush, Louisiana.
Throughout his life, Roy traveled the world working as a sub-sea engineer for various offshore companies. Roy loved to travel and enjoy life, but after all of his travels, Bush remained the place that he considered home.
Roy is preceded in death by his parents, Heard Roy and Janella Pierce Mullett
He is survived by his wife, Penha Cristina Mullett; One brother, Burrell (Allison) Mullett; Two sisters, Jan (Gary) Williams and Noel Dudley Mullett; His five children: Nicole (Jeffery) Conn, Kayli (Everet) Phillips, John Roy (Morgan) Mullett, Louise (Ansel) Bonnette, and Tharcysio Tasso Mullett; 13 grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and his best friend, Walter Pierce.
Roy’s service will be held at Sun Methodist Church in Sun, Louisiana, at 2 pm Saturday, August 16, 2025.
