Thomas W. Galloway, Jr., of Bush, Louisiana, passed away on September 2, 2025, at the age of 92. He was born on June 30, 1933, in Enon, Louisiana. Tom lived a full and meaningful life until his passing, surrounded by loved ones.
Tom devoted many years to his career with the State Highway Department and Prestressed Concrete Products Company. He also worked for the St. Tammany Parish School System as a bus driver. He was known for his dedication and commitment to his work. In his personal life, Tom enjoyed carpentry, woodworking, and farming, but above all, he cherished spending time with his family.He was a loving husband to Nola S. Galloway and a proud father to his children: Leslie Graham, Tommie Galloway, Jackie Galloway, and Jeff Galloway. Tom was also a beloved grandfather to Brandy Morse (Johnny), Tiffany Cambre (Stephen), Erika Buras, Katherine Burns, Jesse Buras (Bailey), and Courtney Buras. His great-grandchildren, Zachary Morse, Bexleigh Hickman, and Elanor Buras, brought him immense joy.
Tom was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas W. Galloway, Sr., and Finers S. Galloway, his brother Floyd Galloway, and his son-in-law Patrick Graham.A visitation will be held on September 6, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Sharp's Chapel Church of God, located at 22191 Sharp's Chapel Rd, Bush, LA 70431. The funeral service will begin at 12:00 PM, following the visitation. After the service, Tom will be laid to rest at Sharp's Chapel Cemetery.
Thomas W. Galloway, Jr. will be remembered for his warm spirit, his dedication to family and work, and the love he shared throughout his life.
