Family First Funeral & Cremations Services - MarcellusRoy C. Peet, a beloved father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, passed away peacefully on September 25, 2025, in Battle Creek, Michigan, at the age of 91. Born on September 21, 1934, in Riverside, California, Roy lived a life characterized by simplicity, humility, and love for his family.
Roy dedicated 34 years of his career to Kellogg's, where his strong work ethic and commitment made a lasting impact. He also proudly served his country as a Navy Veteran during the Korean War, a chapter of his life that he reflected on with honor and respect.
Family was at the heart of Roy's existence. He cherished the memories created while traveling across the United States with his two sons, H. Scott Peet and Shawn Peet, during their formative years. These journeys were filled with laughter, adventure, and the foundational experiences that shaped their bond.
Roy's legacy continues through his four grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren, who will remember him fondly for his kindness, wisdom, and the joy he brought to their lives.
He was predeceased by his parents, Harold and Lola (Benson) Peet, whose love and guidance helped shape the man he became.
His presence will be deeply missed, but his spirit will live on in the hearts of those he cherished dearly. A graveside service with military honors will take place on Friday, October 17, 2025 at Fort Custer National Cemetery at 2:30pm.
