Stephen Michael "Steve" Horihan, age 78 of Hastings, peacefully went to be with his Lord & Savior Jesus Christ on Friday morning, September 26, 2025.
Steve was the creator of the gun mailbox in front of Freedom Firearms. He was a Vietnam War Veteran, 100% disabled. He was a carpenter and cabinet maker. He was a proud union iron worker. Everything he did, he did well. He was a Christian and he walked into Heaven. He had been told more than once by folks, “Well, you sure don’t act like a Christian!” His response was always, “I’m not acting.” He knew if there were sinners, he was chief among them and more than anyone needed God’s Grace and Forgiveness. He said any Christian that was afraid to die, didn’t really believe and probably ought to check their faith.
Steve will be missed by his good friends.
