Roy Stapp Obituary
Roy was born April 12, 1939 in Newsome, Texas. He was raised in Hallsville, TX and graduated at Hallsville High School. Roy was married to Marge Stapp for 50 years and resided on Burleson, TX. He worked as a pressman for Fort Worth Star Telegram for almost 30 years. He later retired and enjoyed hunting, fishing, and making knives. His nickname was "RC" to most, but his "special" friends called him "Rooster". He attended Boulevard Baptist Church in Burleson, TX where he was a member.
He is survived by his wife Marge, his children Charlene Stark (Randy), Roy Cody Stapp III (Angie), grandchildren Wesley Stark, Shelby O'Neill (Kyle), Roy C. Stapp IV (Kendra), Joseph Stapp (Kristen), James Stapp, and great-grandchildren Calin Stapp, and Charlotte Stapp. He was preceded in death by his father, Roy Cody Stapp, his mother, Clara Stapp, and his sister, Joyce.
