Roy White Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Baird Funeral Home - Bend on Jan. 13, 2026.
Roy Lowell White was born on September 5, 1965, to his parents Joe & Barbara White in Monterey Park, CA. In 1972, his family made their way to Bend, OR. Bend immediately felt like home, and that is where he remained until his passing on December 13, 2025.
Roy built his life around being a son, brother, husband, girl dad, papa, and a friend who was more like family to many.
As an extroverted introvert, the man never knew a stranger. Those who knew him well knew he could talk your ear off about almost anything.
He lived life on his own terms, with a mission of bringing a smile to all he encountered. After reaching his social maximum, he would retreat to his beloved dog Megan and recharge his batteries for his next outing.
Throughout his life he worked in many trades and built a reputation for being able to fix anything.
Roy was happiest when outdoors, enjoying everything Central Oregon had to offer. He could be found ripping down Mt. Bachelor, soaking others with his jet ski, sending people flying from a tube behind the boat or reveling in the solitude of hunting and fishing.
He was also a connoisseur of music, believing that all of life's problems could be solved with the right soundtrack. He was well known for his "who's this" game with any song playing and he coached many to build their skills.
He was a fan of the Oregon Ducks, Philadelphia Eagles, Portland Trail Blazers and really sports in general.
His final aspirations included plans to see Metallica live, enjoying the beauty of driving down the 101, and settling into his role as a papa.
For those who he is survived by, his wish is that you: live boldly, love deeply, stay curious, give to those in need, smile at a stranger and make friends in all the places you go.
In lieu of flowers or gifts, the family requests that donations be made to Shepherd's House in his honor. Roy cared for this organization and had recently donated to support those in need over Thanksgiving.
A celebration of life will take place on Saturday, March 14, 2026, at 3:30pm at:
Laurie's Grill
415 NE 3rd St.
Bend, OR 97701
